Description:

U.S fought the resistance of native groups under the "Tecumseh". The U.S defeated his resistance and manage to take control over the Ohio Territory in which they were expanding into. This event is critical because it shows the process of how the U.S expanded into the size in which it is today. They had to fight through the remaining natives in order to expand their land, and if the U.S is able to expand their land, then a more suitable population can grow, more land to make money, and more ground for military needs, which in all gives the U.S more power, which is what they need to become a super strong a powerful nation.
