Description:

Despite World War I have been going on since 1914, the United States didn’t become involved until 1917. They chose to enter the war after the Central Powers tried to recruit Mexico to invade the U.S., as well as continuously sunk American ships. A large portion of the American public was not in favor of war, so the government created lots of propaganda to convince the public of its necessity. The war ended in 1918 with the Allies defeating the Central Powers.
