Description:

Antony's divorce led to an all out civil war in Rome. In 31 BC Octavian sent a fleet of soldiers to attack Antony. Antony sailed to meet it and they met West of Greece. This battle became known as the Battle of Actium. His fleet was defeated and he fled to Egypt. Cleopatra and Antony committed suicide. Octavian became Rome's sole ruler.
