Description:

In early 1889, Hawai'i was granted a large level of internal autonomy. Soon after, the Hawaiian King began to open up talks with the British and remaining independent Polynesian states to unite the region into a Polynesian Confederacy.

However, desires of the remaining kingdoms and the various colonies would see little interest in this idea.
