Description:

Napoleon was a very successful and popular general that had much success in Egypt fighting the British. The council believed that these victories showed that he was the right man to grant control of the armies when they discovered a Jacobin plot to take over the government. He then uses the 5,000 soldiers in his control take over the government and crown himself the new emperor.
