Virtual reality (VR) is an interactive computer-generated experience taking place within a simulated environment.
☞ I first encountered these when I had my first smartphone in 2013. It is found in location/mapping applications that displays the names of places when directed by the camera and also in gaming applications like Pokemon Go.
