Description:

From 1854-1861, pro and against slavery advocates flooded Kansas in hopes to sway votes and feelings of the population. Violence arose from this event and there were numerous fatalities. All of the small arguments that took place along with the bloodshed, started to get a country-wide agreement in the works.
