Hatshepsut was a female king that attained the full titles and regalia of a Pharoah. After her husband, and half-brother, died she became rulers with her step-son Thutmose III. In statues though, she chose to be depicted as male.Being female, Hatshepsut was the first of her kinds. She first paved the way for later female rulers.
