oct 17, 1479 BC - Hatshepsut’s reign begins

Description:

Hatshepsut was a female king that attained the full titles and regalia of a Pharoah. After her husband, and half-brother, died she became rulers with her step-son Thutmose III. In statues though, she chose to be depicted as male.
Being female, Hatshepsut was the first of her kinds. She first paved the way for later female rulers.
