I still believe the answer to any problem lies with the people. I believe in states' rights and I believe in people doing as much as they can to help themselves. Many believe that this basically means that he thinks that the states should be able to continue segregation and possibly slavery. This ties hand in hand to the true meaning of the Confederate Flag.
