oct 26, 1962 - DAY 11: EX-COMM receives a letter from Khrushchev stating that the Soviets would remove their missiles if President Kennedy publicly guarantees the U.S. will not invade Cuba. The CIA reports that the construction of the missile sites is continuing and accelerating.

Description:

This was beneficial for both sides because the soviets would agree to remove their missiles and in return the USA would not invade Cuba. This negotiation was reletivley great for both sides and allowed them to fine a way to compromise.
