jan 1, 1640 - Collotype
Description:
Invented by Alphonse Poitevin in 1856, the process of collotype printing involved using a sheet of light-sensitive gelatin that exposed photographically to an image without using a screen. This method became replaced by the offset lithography because it became cheaper to print using a lithograph.
