Description:
An amphibious assault by the allies with the goal to liberate France from the Germans. This was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The allies brought tanks onto the beaches to help the soldier on the ground. Along side the assault from the water, the allies dropped thousands of soldiers behind enemy lines with the goal to destroy enemy artillery guns firing down onto the beaches.
