On December 26th, 1991 the ever powerful Soviet Union fell when newly elected POTUS George W. Bush put a new plan in place to deal with Mikhail Gorbachev. His plan would soon prove successful when Gorbachev made the decision to loosen the Soviet grip on the countries of Eastern Europe which opened the door for the United States as this made it easier to move countries toward a democracy.Added to timeline:
