apr 26, 1986 - Nuclear Accident
Description:
On the 26th of April 1986 in Chernobyl, Ukraine one of the four nuclear reactors exploded and caught fire. The accident killed 30 operators, 2 of them died on the night of the accident and the other 28 died a couple weeks later from radiation poisoning. I think this is important because it shows how deadly nuclear energy is.Added to timeline:
