Description:
The Boston Massacre was a riot that occurred in Boston, which was occupied by about 2,000 British soldiers. Tensions ran high as colonists grew restless because of taxation without representation. A crowd of colonists began to torment British soldiers, and the soldiers retaliated with violence, killing 3 on the spot and injuring 8, 2 of whom later died. Afterward, the soldiers were tried and punished - hope for the colonists.
