Description:
Known as the miracle on ice, the US hockey team defeated the Soviet hockey team in the 1980 winter Olympics by a score of 3 to 4. This was a big exclamation mark that the US put on the Cold War as a way to show the power and fight the US still had and their resilience to not give in to being beaten again as they have in multiple times in the past at that time.
