Description:

One of a few state ballot approvals under the English for Everyone Initiative. Arizona state voters approved state policies that enforce more English-only instruction.
Arizona is an example where bilingual laws and policies were being repealed at the state level. This is decreasing the rights of districts to meet the lingual, as well as, the academic and cultural needs of ELL students.
