Description:
Alliance created by communist states in eastern Europe in response to NATO. The Warsaw pact was created mostly because of Western Germany's involvement in NATO. The Warsaw Pact was mostly related to the concept of deterrence because the alliance focused on increased defence amongst its members to deter an enemy attack from the western allies.
