nov 27, 2008 - Chapter 10 (Nya) Southern Sudan, 2008

Description:

After the men had finished meeting they started walking past Nya's house with her Uncle. Then walked until the men were in front of a tree where they started talking to her Uncle and then about fifty paces past the tree there was another tree so one man stopped half way and the other man went the rest of the way to the second tree then started examining it. I think he was probably taking measurements. So after they did that the man said "This is the spot, halfway between the two largest trees. We will hide water here." Nya didn't at all understand what the heck they were talking about because she knew that place like the back of her own hand. But then she made the assumption that there was no other reason they would say this unless it was going to rain!
