Description:
«Section 6: Where the insanity of any person committed under the warrant of any Justice or Justices of the Peace to a gaol as insane, has been duly certified under the thirtieth section of the said Revised Statute respecting Lunatic Asylums, and the custody of Insane Persons, and the Gaol Surgeon afterwards certifies that such person has recovered and may be safely discharged, the Sheriff shall direct the keeper of such gaol to dis- charge such person from custody under the said warrant, and such person shall be discharged accordingly» (p. 392).
