Description:
This strike started in may 1902 and ended in October involving 147,000 workers. This strike was caused by coal miners in Pennsylvania seeking better wages and conditions. At the time of this strike with no coal miners, energy levels became very low and the price of coal raised to very expensive rates. In the end the workers returned to work for a 10% wage increase.
