Description:

It was on this day that the British were able to successfully suppress the revolt and prevent further Arab destruction having gone through so much already. Towards the last few weeks, Jerusalem went through a lot of explosions. Some from the Arabs, but many from the Irgun whom had carefully placed explosives in the area of Jerusalem killing a dozen Jewish and British soldiers. Nevertheless, the revolt ended after British and Jewish militants were able to raid and retake Jerusalem (which had been a terrorist stronghold).
