Steven Robert Irwin also known as Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter was born In Essendon, Melbourne on the 22nd February 1962 his father was Bob Irwin and his mother was named Lyn Irwin. Steve Irwin died on the 4th September 2006 due to a stingray sting to the heart he was only 44 years old. "The Crocodile Hunter" was an Australian zookeeper, conservationist, and television personality. Irwin achieved worldwide fame from the television series The Crocodile Hunter which started from (1996–2007) an international broadcast wildlife documentary series which he co-hosted with his wife Terri.
