jan 1, 2010 - Dr. Eske Willerslev

Description:

Dr. Willerslev was the first to successfully sequence the ancient human genome of a 4,000 year old Greenlander by using a piece of this person’s hair. He also did research on a 24,000 year old Siberian skeleton and revealed that there were connections between Europeans and Native Americans. This discovery would be a benefit to society because it would show the history of how people evolved over time.
