Description:
The creation of clocks and compasses helped organize the world in a way never seen before. These clocks regulated the times of day, and provided the people with a way to understand the time of day other than by looking at the position of the sun. The compass allowed explorers--most notably, sea explorers--to more easily navigate across unknown oceans and areas.
