Description:

The central government played a significant role in the restructuring of education in this period that is why this period has a major role in the education system. This board was consisting of various ministers, secretaries, and other official members but it was headed by the Ministry of Human Resource Department. The agenda was prepared with the help of all members. The most important function of CABE was to advise on education-related matters keeping the check on the efficient functioning of the education system. The important work was to analyze the report and received information appropriately so they can properly make appropriate decisions, and at last, they can give recommendations to the government of India or state government.
Though it was a good deal of various important works in the field of education, due to financial crises and drastic retrenchment it was abolished in 1923.
