In June of 1815, Napoleon was defeated and exiled after a reign of much controversy over France. Napoleon had a last desperate stand and lost, resulting in a decisive Coalition victory. Waterloo is in present day Belgium. His rule over France was controversial and he had many wars against many countries including Britain. This led to the formation of the Coalition to stop him from taking over Europe and was defeated by them.
