Modern hotels have been found in Jeddah since the early 1950s. The most prominent of these was the Jeddah Orchards Hotel, which was established by the Minister of Finance Abdullah Al-Sulaiman with the Al-Kandara Palace Hotel. But the Jeddah Palace Hotel was the most elegant.
It was established in the field of allegiance, alongside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Poet Park. And was built by the Arabian Eagle Contracting Company owned by Mohammed Ali Musalli. The hotel had a large showroom that hosted most of the social, artistic and even political events. It was a lively theater of King Faisal's speeches
