Founded in Jeddah by the trio of journalists: Abdelfattah Abouddin, Mohamed Amin Yahia and Mohammed Saeed Baashen. The funding came from the home of Zainal Alireza by two thousand riyals, ordered by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Alireza, The first issue was published on June 1, 1957
