Description:
Locke was an English philosopher that came up with many of the ideas that were used in the US Constitution, including a representative government and putting a limit on the power of the government. He is also credited with the idea that every man has a right to life, liberty, and property. As for significance, Locke’s ideals and knowledge labeled him as the father of liberalism, embarking a new wave of political and natural beliefs.
