Description:

Shay’s rebellion was a conflict in Massachusetts between the government and revolutionary war soldiers. The soldiers were not being paying enough and it was hard to get money after the war due to the debt in the country. Violent attacks on government property took place for around half a year. These acts proved that the government was too weak under the current legislature and needed to create a stronger document, like the constitution.
