feb 23, 1948 - London Six Power Conference
Description:
The London Six Power Conference was held in Germany between the Western occupational forces (Britain, France, U.S.) and the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). The aim of the conference was to insure the future of Germany’s participation on a global scale by creating a government in the area of Trizonia. Though, Germany was not allowed to have weapons of mass destruction and other similar weapons, and could not invade the Soviet occupation zone. As a consequence, the Soviet Union ended its efforts within the Allied Control Council.
