Started with General Jeffrey Amherst's hate for the Indians. General Jeffrey Amherst is a British military commander in North America who hated the Indians. Due to his hatred for the Indians, he ended the flow of trade goods on which the Indians had come to depend on under French rule. This resulted in Ottawa, Huron, Potawatomi and other Indians to rebel against the British during the spring of 1763. This rebellion is what "kicked off" Pontiac's Rebellion.
