sep 30, 1938 - Treaty of Munich
Description:
The leaders of Italy, Germany, Great Britain and France held a meeting in Munich about Hitler receiving the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia was not a part of talks of giving up THEIR land. They knew no country was going to come to their help so they had no choice but to give up the Sudetenland. Hitler did no receive this for free of course, he had to pinky promise that he would not invade the rest of Czechoslovakia.
