The urban regulations approved by the Municipality in 2011 set a new, much needed, legislative framework providing the legal tools permitting the control of the speculative moves
that have caused the loss of many historic buildings in the last twenty years. The regulations set more specific and (restrictive) building heights according to the size of the
plot and its location within the old city.
