sep 21, 1939 - Cash and Carry

Description:

This policy created weapons for cash, to pay for war efforts. The U.S wanted upfront cash, and did not want to wait on the money. This gave the in hand money to build more and more of a military to help them further fight and stay safe in the war. Made Europe and Asia buy weapons at expensive rates, or a process called supply and demand. This gave them all this firepower to help fight against their enemies. This affected them economically because they were booming with this idea, based on the supply and demand effect with the military efforts.
