dec 31, 1931 - James Chadwick James chadwick was a British scientist that was born on October 20 1981 born in Bollington and died on july 24 1974. Discovery of neutron is Chadwick’s greatest work. It not only contributed to the better understanding of nucleus, but also paved the way towards the fission of Uranium 235, which ultimately led to the creation of the atomic bomb.
