jan 1, 1929 - The Great Depression Begins
Description:
The great depression was as rough a time for the CRC as it was for the rest of Canada. This was because a lot of people needed help but nobody could afford to donate. Before the CRC had the money to help porrer people but now they were poor themselves. This left some divisions of the CRC nearly bankrupt and barley to help anyone. But, despite the setbacks, the CRC maintained some of its programs and helped where they could.
