22 h, apr 11, 2004 y - Lilly and Austin bury their pasts and look to the future, Michonne visits the Governor. (The Fall of the Governor: Part 1)

- Day 267
- Lilly and Austin go to the quiet south side of Woodbury. Austin asks her if she brought the things he told her to and she says yes. Austin mentions how he used to do this with his brothers on Halloween, but they would burn it but they decide to bury so they avoid attention. He digs a hole in the ground, pours him and Lilly a glass of grape juice and then drops some marijuana into the hole. He says goodbye to being high, and they drink.
- The Governor tries to feed Penny a severed foot but she won't eat it. Suddenly someone starts heavily ramming into the door. The lock breaks and Michonne, the girl, bursts in with a look of fury in her eyes. The fight lasts eighty-seven seconds. The Governor keeps an eye on Penny, and the katana on the floor. Michonne does the same. Philip lunges for the katana but is kicked in the face. Michonne grabs it and then kicks him in the testicles causing him to roar vomit. She stands over him, holding the sword. He waits to die. She then tells him that she didn't want it to be quick, whilst he makes a quick note of where she is standing. He grapples her legs and goes for the sword. She bites him on the neck and he is so panicked about all the blood and that she may have punctured his jugular that he doesn't notice her grab the sword. She hits him on the head with the handle three times, knocking him out cold.
- Lilly puts a picture of Megan Lafferty in the hole. She wishes her peace and they drink.
- Austin puts an old harmonics into the hole which represents his musical brothers, John and Tommy who died in Atlanta last year. They drink to Austin's brothers.
- Lilly drops a bullet into the hole. It represents how they're surrounded by death, every day; and she wants to bury it. She knows it doesn't change a thing, but its for their baby, Woodbury, and their future.
- The last item is from Lilly. Its a black node that Josh Hamilton gave her and it smells like his cooking. He saved her numerous times and was a great friend. She tearily raises the cup and they both drink. Austin tells Lilly that he loves her. She tells him to "Start shovelling, pretty boy".
