Description:

President Truman was afraid of communism taking complete control over Europe, so he thought of a plan to avoid the takeover of Europe. This was called the Marshall Plan. Western Europe had a bad status after WW2 which caught Truman's attention. Truman decided to supply Western Europe with over 12 billion dollars in goods and resources. The whole West area then went against communism due to the help from Truman.

This plan is best related to the concept, containment because President Truman spent a lot of money to prevent communism taking over full control in Europe.
