feb 2, 1768 - 1773 Boston Tea Party: Members of the Sons of Liberty dressed as Natives and dumped 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. While some colonists cheered, it ultimately created a divide between the rebellions. Prominent figures, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin denounced the event.
