jun 17, 2009 - Social Emotional Development under 10 years old I don't take my brother's food in fear that my parents will scold at me. This is based off of Kohlberg's 6 stages of moral dilemma. This is quite normal for kids under 10 to avoid personal punishment. I am in the preconventional stage at this point.
