Description:
Also known as one of the, "Intolerable Acts" The Quartering Act required the colonists to house and feed British troops in their private homers, as well as provide certain daily necessities as required. All without any compensation. Only after all private residences were filled could troops be kept in empty buildings, barns, or other facilities, also without any compensation to the colonists.
