jan 14, 1850 - Compromise of 1850

Description:

A new deal called the compromise of 1850. It will have 5 different pieces to it.
Utah and New Mexico territory will determine slavery based on popular sovereignty
California will enter the union as a free state. It will maintain its boundaries.
Texas has to give up their extra territory and it will be put into their modern boundaries (gov will pay money for it)
Slave trade in Washington D.C. will stop
Instating the Fugitive Slave act
