dec 11, 1931 - Statute of Westminister
Description:
The Statute of Westminister was a British Law that clarified the power of Canada's parliament. It granted the former colonies full freedom should they want it. After the first World War, Canada began to have a greater desire to become independent, and had began to already do things like sign treaties on their own. Once this was passed, Canada had new independence that it wasn't able to have before.
