In the University of Toronto, Insulin is developed to help people with diabetes. They injected the hormone they created into a dog and found the blood sugar levels lowered to normal.
This helped Canada because it was a lifesaving breakthrough for people with Type 1 diabetes and helpful to people with type 2. With this, they could finally get the treatment they needed.
