Description:
Rana "dictatorship" utilized the support of the army and British government in India to drive their rule. Public education had recently been declared a fundamental right following a period of suppress by the government to prevent citizen uprisings. Turning away from a century of Rana rule to Democracy in Nepal caused nearly six decades of delays in proper implementation.
