PP- The invention of the printing press was one of the most important innovations in western civilization, and majorly helped in the spread of new ideas across Europe. The printing of books in languages that the general public could actually read, such as the Gutenberg Bible (the first bible to be written in German instead of Latin), led to cooperation of scholars, development of research, the spread of ideas, and a rise in literacy rates. This was dealing with poverty and prosperity because it gave rise to a new industry and overall better European economy.
