Description:

Causes: France controlled over Vietnam. The nationalist did not like France controlling over Vietnam. The war did not end but the two side ( nationalist vs. communist) were split into two sides.
Outcomes:The split was called the 17th parallel division. This was discussed during 1954 by the Geneva Peace Conference.
