Around 3500 bc the first bronze making was discovered by the ancient Sumerians in the Tigris Euphrates. Ancient Sumer may have been the first civilization to start adding tin to copper to make bronze. Bronze tools and weapons soon were replaced with stone versions. Humans made many technological advances during the Bronze Age, like the first writing systems and the invention of the wheel.
